We use Allen-Bradley SLC 5 for Instrument air compressors. I face a peculiar problem. Three compressors are used. Always two on duty and the third standby compressor's all transmitters goes fault for a while and got reset. This is happening only when duty compressors are loading. Otherwise no problem. I checked voltages to transmitters I/O modules and other hardware related things. Can any one help me?
Thanks
Ravi

Is loading being done by deenergizing soleniods and are soleniods 24VDC (same power supply as Transmitters?) If so I had same problem.
Deenergizing solenoids caused inductive kick which caused tranmitters
to spike. Free wheeling diodes acrossed solenoids cured problem.
