Anyone know of a manufacturer of sun canopies (preferably in the UK but not essential) for fitting to panel doors to protect HMI's from direct sunlight?

I found this company http://www.fibox.com/ but was looking for alternatives. Something hinged at the top, maybe, or a GRP material??

The particular job we have at the moment is going to Nigeria, but where all the others we've supplied were in plant rooms, this one is going to be outside in direct sunlight. I know from past experience when we did a job in Sudan and was told it would be in an air conditioned plant room, but was actually out in an oil field, we ended up with 2 nicely sand blasted Siemens MP370 15" touch screens!!

Thanks

Rob.

Usually outside in direct sun requires a high NIT I think @ 750 or above if your going to be able to see the screen. Also, not sure how cold it gets in the UK, but LCD's are sensitive to the cold. Our computer had a built in heater to take care of that. Of course not cheap.
