Slightly OT

Help!!
We started to make some machines that are going to the UAE. The US version uses a 120v 1 hp universal motor. The export version uses a 240v version with a BS1363 line cord.
Where in the US can I buy 2 receptacles and cover plates for BS1363?
Also does anyone know of a 240v variac? We have to test these at 225 to 253 volts.

Try this for the Variac.

It is for a Staco 3PN2520B, 0-280 VAC Variable Transformer good up to 10A.

If you have a 110v variac, you could feed it to a transformer to step the voltage up to your requirements.
