Hi
Here we have 4 machines on a production line. Each machine has a S7315-2DP PLC and each is configured as a master with its own slaves (drives etc). Management are looking to improve production by better synchronization of machines after stoppages. My question is; is it possible to exchange information amongst all masters via DP/DP couplers? If so would each machine need its own coupler as a slave and how would they connect together? Or is there a better way of doing this?
Thanks in advance.
