Is there a tool that allows you to convert your old version 2 programs to Version 3 without saving your *.stu as *.xef.

The watchdog timeout will occur even while not connected to the PLC. The fault can occur anytime, in offline mode or in run mode. This is not a cabling issue, I am sure of that.

Unfortunately not.
If all you have is the .STU ... your in trouble.
BUT!

You can get Unity as a demo (from your local Schneider rep) which will allow you to open up the old project and re-save it as a .XEF

Then you can import into new Unity.

If your really stuck I have both versions.

Only *.sta and *.xef can be opened in any version of Unity. I think *.xef is a more preferable format.

I have versions 2.0, 2.2, 2.3, 3.0 and can help you if you are in trouble.
