SLC5/03 communication problems

Good people,

Please may you assist with a solution; When I try to download a program to a SLC 5/03 CPU, I get this message ‘No response from processor, Initdriver failed-code-1’ and below that ‘Current driver (AB_PIC_1) may not be running.’

The program that you loaded into RSlogix was last saved with a PIC driver.
Which driver are you using?
Make sure that RSLinx is running, and choose the driver that you want. The SLC5/03 can use PIC through a PIC or AIC, or DF1 to the serial port.

If yiour connecting through a 1747-pic make sure your serial port is set right in RS linx if yuo have the connection the RS linx should show the node. If your using the 1747-cp3 througha standard USB adaptor you will want to set the SLC-cho/micrologix/panelview. error checking CRC protocal fukll duplex. If your using the 1747-UIC and connecting to the rs 485 port you want to use the 1770-kf3/1747-ke driver I can't recall the cable to go with it I beleive its the 1747-c13 cable
