I have a control valve which is controlling pressure in a pipe, and
I want the option to control it manually from the HMI. I have had a play around with the PIDE function using the simulator and when the PIDE function is set to manual the "CVPROG" value is written to the output "CVEU". However, the output jumps to the last value that was set to "CVPROG" which might be undesireable. Is there a way of overcoming this within the function? I.e. always use the last value of "CVEU" as a starting point for any manual intervention.
