Dear all,
I need a solution for controlling a motor with 4 -diffent frquency.

VFD-Schneider's Altivar 11, 4 Di available

LI-1====for Forward start---factory setting
Li-2====()
LI-3=====()
Li-4()

1.Motor will be started by pressing a pushbutton, which hold a command to run the motor at 50 Hz,
2.a Jog input which will run the motor at 10Hz
3.and rest two DI of which one run the motor at 40Hz, other Di run the motor at 25 Hz, but when both DI come at the same time motor should run at 40Hz.

Please any schneider drive people help me

thanks

Function PS2 allows preset speeds (SP2, SP3, SP4).

Dear Jim,

I tried that, by SP2 I have only two speeds

Li-3 li4
0 1 -speed-1
1 0 -speed-2
1 1---------speed-1 again this required as per application

so by two Di i have got only two speed.

One start DI also gives sepate speed

so total 3-speeds I have got

remaining one speed for inching is required.Please help,I dont know how to get that speed by inching speed.

I'm having trouble understanding what you mean by what I have highlighted in red.

What is your setting in HSP?
What is your setting in LSP?
What is your setting in SP2?
What is your setting in SP3?
What is your setting in SP4?
What is your setting in LIA?
What is your setting in LIB?

What is your setting in HSP?----50 Hz
What is your setting in LSP?----0 Hz
What is your setting in SP2?----speed-1,( 20Hz say)
What is your setting in SP3?----speed-2,40Hz
What is your setting in SP4?----speed-3(=speed-1=20Hz)
What is your setting in LIA?----LI3
What is your setting in LIB?----LI4

Actually we can get 3 diffrent speeds by using combination of LI3 and LI4, but here in this application speed-1 is equals to speed-3,
so practically we can get two different speeds by using LI3 and LI4 inputs.Another speed we can get when motor starts by "start" pushbutton which takes speed reference from local potentiometer.

I am having only problem with 4th speed , this speed required when inching pushbutton is pressed, this speed should be different than others(10Hz).I can't find any inching parameters in the drive , altivar 11.

please help,
Thanks

I must be missing something why can't you use a different speed, (10hz) in speed 3 and use that for your jog speed ?

My understanding is there is no separate "jog speed" in these units.

Dear Vaugh
thanks
In altivar 11 there is no jog operation available.by the way by hardwaring i have done something to satisfy the client.now the jog operation is quite ok exaternally.
