What is the best way to remove the whole number from a floating point so i can do a math function on just the decimal with a allen bradley 5/05 processor
Here is what i am trying to fix.
I have a time into shift clock which is used to display the avg products per hr. The clock stops during the 2 20min breaks. At the end of a 8 hour shift the clock reads 7.33 hrs which accounts for the 40 mins break. I would like the .33 to be displays as actual mins instead of hundredth of a minute.
.33---- x
---- * ---
100---- 60
60*.33= 19.8 / 100 = .198 minute( which would be 20)
7+.20 =:20
I am sure i am looking over a easy way of doing this but i'm drawing a blank.
