I have a WinCC V4.0 with a CP1413 card who is communicating with a CP143 (S5) over Sinec-H1.
This PC will be replaced. The new PC will be equipped with a CP1613 and WinCC V6.0 SP2 will be installed. The PLC program and the parameterisation of the CP143 may not be changed
The configuration is done, but there is no data exhange.
Probably it is the configuration of the CP1613. Some people tell me it is not possible to make a connection between CP1613 and CP143.
Is this true? Has somebody experience with this.
Thanks.

Your probelm is in configuration of CP1613 or in S5 protocol suite in WinCC. We made some replacements of CP1413 by CP1613 and they were working fine.

Have you installed S7-1613 software on that PC? If you install and follow to WinCC Communication manual, it should work.
