Hi All,
Has any one seen or tried out the new version of InTouch yet I've got a rep coming up next week to talk about the latest version ,but I was wondering if any one had tried it yet? Also what dose system platform 3.0 actually do the brochure is just full of techno babble.

Wonderware and some reps have some online materials/webinars that go over some of the new features.

Still waiting for our release to do some testing.

System platform 3.0 is the reference to Industrial App Server 3.0. This is their application server. It is a decentralized IO and scripting service that relies on object based items to replace the IO server for older wonderware. It also integrates with INSQL. From what I have seen so far, it looks like the new appserver will allow the IAS portion of the system to integrate the wonderware portion. Right now I am running WW9.5 and IAS2.0. The upgrades to WW10 and IAS3 are supposed to provide a common point for the development and deployment of objects and screens in one area.
