I would like to connect a touch panel from Siemens (TP27 10 inch) to a Omron CQM1 PLC.

I have tried to make a cable for it but it is not working.

The pin assignment (15 pin Sub-D socket) from the TP27 is:
1 - Housing
3 - RxD
4 - TxD
5 - CTS
8 - Housing
12 - GND
14 - -5V
15 - GND

The TP27 suports the "omron Hostlink/multilink V6.0" protocol.
How should I connect the TP27 to the omron PLC?

I found the working pinout for the cable (TP27 siemens <--> CQM1 Omron PLC)

TP27 (15 pin male)-------------- CQM1 PLC (9 pin male)

1 Shield/Housing ---------------- 1 Shield/Housing
8 Shield/Housing (jumper to 1)
3 RxD -------------------------- 2 TxD
4 TxD -------------------------- 3 RxD
4 RTS (jumper to CTS)
5 CTS (jumper to RTS)
12 GND (jumper to GND 15) ----- 9 GND
15 GND (jumper to GND 12)

5 CTS (not connected)
14 -5V (not connected)

Also you must put the omron PLC in "monitor mode"
