Controllogix RMPS(ramp soak) function

Any body ever use the RMPS function in logix5000? Having used it with the emulator set up for 4 segments, it ignores the first(segment 0)goes to the last (segment 3)and holds. The hold part seems correct as far as the explanation is concerned, but I can't see how it can be reset to start at the first segment again and why segment 0 is ignored in the beginning.
Any ideas?
