What do you mean by retentive timer?

I think I could help you, but not quite sure what you mean right now.

Rententive timer is a timer that holds the last elapsed time when during process power went off and resumes the timer from the elapesed time to complete the process.

Haven't you posted about this before? You have to use either a data register or a counter with a clock pulse as these are the only devices that are retentive.

What are you trying to achieve.

Jon.
