There are 1771-de,1785-ke in that plc-5 chassis.
my customer would buy some plc-5 spare parts. but the 1785-LT3 is not produced any longer, could i replace that with 1785-L11B ?
Thank you!

Short ansewer Yes. But The PLC5/12 has a DH+ port and a RIO port, the PLC5/11 has a DH+ port or a RIO port. So I guess it depends on what you have connected to your PLC5/12 port, ports.
The PLC5/11 gives you a serial port which you did not have on your PLC5/12.

Thanks for your answer. I saw that a cable is used to connect the 1785-KE module and the DH+ connector of PLC-5/12, could the DH+ network have only two nodes ? I shall go to the field to find if the 150 ohm terminator resistance was installed. I shall add a pv600 hmi to the DH+ network.
