Hi Guys
I have a question concerning a Red Lion G306C HMI Screen connected to a Direct Logic 205 PLC. I am having a problem writing to a v-memory location from the screen. It seems the HMI is outputing
the data in a decimal format and when i use the data in the plc it is in BCD format. Would the screen do the conversion or do i somehow do that in the PLC? I tried to convert the tag to hexidecimal and also tried to do it without a tag direct from the screen page. No luck. Any easy way to do this? Any help would aprreciated.

You can use the BCD to Binary, or Binary to BCD transform on your tag. This will do the conversion in both directions, so you can read and write in the proper format.

Regards,
Dan
