Can I use a Mitsubishi QD62 hi-speed counter module coupled with an encoder attached to a rotating shaft in order to give me a constsnt readout of the speed of the rotating shaft?

If so how do I achieve this? - do I use the "sampling counter function" and set the sampling time to sample and reset every 1sec?

Any help will be most apreciated

Regards
