Dear All

I have two machines one has AB Processor 1785-L40B PLC 5/40 and sencond has Processor 1785-L40E PLC 5/40. The diffrence is that L40B does not have Eathernet Port but L40E has. i want to arrange spare PLC5. can L40E would work in the place of L40B?

Yes, only communication ports are different.

The above is correct, just make sure you are using only two ports on the B for DH+/RIO, and you are good with an E as a spare, well, aside from the cost!
