upgrading SLC5/01 to SLC 5/04.

I am upgrading SLC5/01 to SLC 5/04. The process is simple and the PLC rack has only 3 input and 3 out put cards.

Do I need to consider any thing before I change the CPU from CPU 5/01 to 5/05

The only thing i can think of when doing this upgrade is that the version of rslogix 500 is new enough to include the new 5/04 or 5/05 models. Otherwise it is simple and easy.
Just open your project and change the plc model and then download it to the new plc, use of new version of rslinx is preferable.
