Greetings,

I have attached a screenshot of something that isn't clear to me. Do Pins 35 and 36 get power from a separate supply? It doesn't say anywhere in the book..There isn't 24V across either of these two pins and common. I need power for my encoder, I'm assuming I supply power to pins 35 and 36, but will wait for a response just in case...

IIRC pins 35 & 36 are the power connections for the outputs.
They are not needed for an encoder input.
