PV to Slc 5/05

Hi all!

Could somebady help me.

I´m trying to download a proyect to Panel View by serial comunication and I used the serial cable but I can´t to download the project. Somebady know any conection more, after this PV to be conected at Plc Allen Bradley 5/05 in the serial port, now I have comunication to Cpu by Eterneth port.

Sorry my english isno´t very well.

Well first off we need to know your model of panelview the connection requirements differ on certain models.

The model the panel view is: 2711-K5A5

Your PV has a RS232 port with DH485 protocol. See PDF below for connection.
You will have to use the 1747-PIC/AIC+ driver in RSLinx to download your program to the PV. Your PC/laptop will need a real serial port to use this driver.
The serial port on your SLC5/05 will have to be configured for DH485 protocol.

the slc 5/05 is ethernet only.
