I would like to know if it is possible to read from an analog sensor 0-5 V with an analog module input of a s5-95u. I sow in the manual that this plc module only read 0-10 V.
I want to say that I'm not an PLC's expert, that's why I'm asking.

In case that is possible, where I have to set so I can have a correct reading.

Thanks.

PD: Sorry for my English :(

In the 95U there are analog processing blocks (FB25x ) these blocks are in the range 250 to 255 anyway, the one you want is RLG-AA or EA I think.

The blocks are stored in the plc so you can upload them into you project before you start.
Call the block then parameterise it as required however as you are using 0-5v you are only using part of the span.
The function block requires a number of parameters these are the analog address, type of input, upper & lower conversion (zero/span of converted value), error flags & fw/dw you want to store the value into.
I cannot find my old 95 manual but the information is in there somewhere.
I'm sure someone here can remember that far back.
