Battery powered RTU

Most any RTU that is DC powered could be done off batteries. Control Microsystems has some very cost effective units plus UPS/charger units for use with any gel cell battery - I thionk 24 VDC but not sure.

Please tell us a little more about what you are requiring.

Is your system going to run on a 12 volt battery or 24 volt battery.

What are your I/O requirements.

Type of I/O will determine current requirements. Example - analog ICs require more current to operate then digital ICs.

How do you plan on interfacing with the cellular network?
