I am looking for an alternative to the AB transceiver that plugs into the front of a 1785-ENET car. I have seen them made by others before but I am not having any luck finding them. Can someone point me to an alternative source?

Thanks for your time.

Greetings Jeff ...

didn't see this thread till after I answered your email ... anyway, let’s see if any members have a better idea ... or maybe can tell us if this will work ...

take a look at this LE180A ...

it looks like a newer model of my old LE2041A-R3 units ... probably does the same job ... I'm assuming (gosh I hate that word) that the "sidecar" units you're dealing with have the same 15-pin female connection as my PLC-5/20E ethernet processors ... take a look at the extra pictures on the Black Box website ... make sure it looks like this model will plug in correctly to your hardware ...

Ron that is exactly what I was looking for. I did not look at my Email before I created this post. Before I order it I am going to wait and see if anybody else comes up with another unit.
