Is this correct?

A hardware (sensors) is connected to PLC5...
PLC5 is linked to PC via ethernet (Or RS232c)...
PC is bundled with RSView32 software (GUI)...
and the PLC5 is programmed through the PC via RSLogix5 programming software...

Is this right??

Yeps, and more specifically:
-Hardware (sensors) connected to expandable I/O modules connected to (usually) the same rack as the PLC via a backplane.
-PC running RSView32 (or any other HMI) or RSLogix5 connects to the PLC via an piece of software called an OPC Server (RSLinx, KepServer, etc).
