How to Calculate Frequency of Input Pulses

Dear All,

I am using S7-300 CPU 314 to upgrade one old DIAPERS Machine.

I am getting input pulses which are showing me how many diaper have passed.

One pulse is equal to 1 Diaper.

The speed of the input pulses is not very fast but i want to calculate FREQUENCY of these input Pulses.

For Example, if my Input # I 14.7 is getting Diaper Pulses, Then how to calculate frequency of this input pulses.

Kindly help me regarding this matter.

Everytime the input goes high, add 1 to a counter. Every second, move that counter to your desired address, and reset the counter
