online with slc 5/03 using USB-DH converter

Has anyone used a 1747-UIC USB to DH485 converter to get online with a AB slc 5/03. Which Logix driver should I use?
I have the comm port mapped and the converter switch set to 485 with a cat 5 cable to plc from the converter. I can get the OK light and the USB light but no DH485 light on the converter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
