J7 problem????

Hello folks,



I’m Aleksandar ,working in aluminum extrusion industry ,today we have a problem with frequency inverter, I need some opinion ,experts opinion , so we are today replacing mechanically variable speed regulator with frequency inverter , before instillation we are check inverter in workshop and setup them. When we connected inverter it is blew out, exactly, block to adapt input, big problem is we don’t know way.



Then we checking all wiring but everything is ok, like: wires, grounding, contacts …,I think maybe fault main switch or over current contactor ,when we to connected circuit on tension input current to pass limits on over current contactor and it to broke supply for inverter, I not sure but I have you, thanks a lot.

Give us model number for Inverter.
Give us numbers on Motor.

Remove Overcurrent contactor. You don't use an overload with an inverter. The inverter does that job.

Namber is:CIMR-J7AC42P2, , number of motor I don’t have now but it is not wrong because I seed we are check motor and inverter in workshop ,previous post I miss some information like, motor connected in STAR combination and when we put them on machine he have full load, maybe that, but I bolded we are connected inverter with same motor in workshop before installing on machine ,please tell me in which direction you are think .

About motor, motor is 3 phase inductive, star combination, current on unloading is 3.5A,

Motor are connected with angle gear box for movement knurling machine
