Help on S7

Dear Friends
i want to change the CPU of my plc(siemens S7). I know that i must change the type of Cpu in Hardware configuration. My question is , anywhere else i must do any change? i mean, anymore hardware or software change is needed?

Dear sayahan the new cpu must be same or higher version. just change into the hardware and thing will work

You should also check the physical width of your CPU. Just to make sure the new one can fit in the same spot as the old one.
