I m hainvg error message on my HMi which is connetced to Allen Braldley PLC SLC 5/02m the error messgage is.

Drive Belt is Missing..?

What does it mean n hwta i have to check
should i check at PLC or Drive or what else..?

Faisal.

My fault message on my HMI right now says "Jam at Diverter 2". I personally would go look at diverter 2 and see if there are tires stuck there or if the photoeye is misaligned. If you see an error message on a screen, it should tell you what the problem is. There should be no reason to go into a plc to see what the problem is. If the error message is not meaningful, then you should get someone who is familiar with AB SLC line and your HMI and do a much better job of programming it.

More than likely, there is a zero speed detection switch on whatever device the fault message is referring to. The fault is likely generated because the PLC is commanding the motor to turn, but whatever the motor is coupled to via a Belt is not turning. This could be due to a Broken Belt, Misaligned Speed Switch, Local Disconnect off, or if a poorly written program, simply no power to the motor.

This is not a PLC issue, but an equipment issue as bruce noted.
