plc5/20 and PV 1200

I was required to change some logic in PLC5/20. There are two racks, one with plc5/20 and another with PV 1200 (build in), They are connected by DH+. Because PV 1200 is too old, I am not planning to any logic in PV 1200. Can I download new PLC program to PLC5/20 not affecting pv 1200's build in Rack. Or I can only changy online.
