Panelview 1000 to PLC5/40 VIA DH+

I am programming a panelview 1000 to communicate with an allen bradley plc5/40. When validating my panelview program I get the following error. "Cannot write to output of discrete rack" The tag have the output listed as they are in the plc program for instance I:005/14. Can anyone explain to my why i'm getting this error and what I need to do to fix it?
