to the OMRON specialists:)

hey,everyone..i just have a lil problem, im a newly learned plc programmer of siemens..unfortunately i have a new project and i nid to use an OMRON plc for it, CP1L w/ 20i/o relay out..my problem is im not reli familiar with OMRON..can anybody recommend how to learn OMRON programming on my own?wat are addresses (input,output,timers,counters,etc...) used with it?

Ever heard the term RTFM ?

Asking about what addresses to use is just plain lazy, all the details are there in the manuals.

I dont use Omron but if i had to start using it i would pick up the manual, download any training literature from the website, sit down read it all then have a play with the PLC.......

THEN

If i didnt know something or was struggling with a specific part of it i would post a question asking for specific help on the specific problem i was having.

I ported from Mitsubishi to Modicon\Schneider around a year ago and thats how i did it, and guess what, it worked.

Seriously, he's in the right giving you **** in this case. Your post is vague and isn't really asking for anything beyond what common sense would dictate.

Sorry to be negative, not enough coffee yet, but did you even try and do a search of this site or Google ?

i didnt mean to be dismissive either, mereley trying to point out that there are more ways of helping yourself than posting an ambiguous message on a forum.

If you ask specific questions you will get specific answers, ask general questions and you will get general answers, nobody has time to teach you the basics other than yourself.
