Hello, I am working with a dl06 for a Fuel station project, I need to receive a few values over tcp/ip, log them and than based on those values send one or two back, What tools/code would you suggest to do this?

You say TCP/IP. is that MODBUS TCP/IP or ???

There are only a couple of ways to go about this project.

If it is MODBUS TCP/IP then it is fairly easy, you need an H0-ECOM100.

If you are looking at some more generic type protocol, then you will need a H0-ECOM or H0-ECOM100 and HOST Engineering's Software Development Kit to write a driver.

One other option would be to use an OPC Driver as the software to interact with the sending device.

Give us a bit more info to go on and we can help steer you in the right direction.

Since I don't know what kind of device you are talking to, I can't really give you a solid answer.

If you are talking to a PC, then the answer is maybe. If it's anything else, then I'm not sure.

It should work, but I can't say that it will with certainty. As long as it adheres to the MODBUS spec all should be well.
