Any Europeans familiar with EN 80950 : 1992 ?

If so, could you supply a link or some explanation
as to what it entails. I was told that it may be
some low voltage directive, but I need more information.

Please find the list of low voltage directive as far as I know. This is the International Standards that I use and reference.
