Panel view Plus comms

Trying to set up the comms to a panel view plus 1000 using factory talk / RClinx classic. I want to use the serial port on my computer on the design tab. Tried just about every driver combo and not luck. Any help would be grealty appreciated.

You have to use RSLinx Enterprise that came with RSView Studio ME to set up comms on the PV+. It is not a separate executable, but a service that runs inside of RSView Studio. Look for "Communicatiosn Setup" in the prject tree on the left hand side of your screen when RSView Studio is open.

Tried that and I when I use the verify I get a message to no path to device has be made...or something like that... I get the exact message and post it later.
