I have PLC S5 (6ES5 943-7UB21) with software (006332.zip) and OP 25 (6AV3525-4EA01-0AX0-ZA03) with software (006332.pdb).
I buy new OP 270 (6AV6 542-0CA10-0AX0), and converter (PC/RS 232 – AG/TTY) called 6ES5 734-1BD20.
I have two software (Pro Tool V6 SP2 and WinCC flexible 2007).
I make conversion With Pro Tool and downloading to the OP270 panel.
After that, I have communication PLC S5 and OP270, but only data from PLC to OP.
I can not change any data in PLC (no transfer from OP to PLC).
Old program (for OP25) have in "Area pointers" type "Interface Area" lenght 185 words, but new program (for OP270) in "Area pointers" have corresponding type "Job Mailbox" only 4 words lenght.
Maybe, problem is there?
Can You help me that I make software conversion for this panel (with Pro Tool V6 SP2 or with WinCC flexible 2007)?
It is nessessery change software in PLC?
