Control Bar
Click the little icon with the red/green/blue buttons that's between the Speed Reference and the Network Status to enable the "Control Bar".
Generally the Control Bar can only command the drive if there's not something else already giving it a command, like a network connection to a PLC, or a STOP or LOCAL function bit asserted by the local terminal block.
