I would like to get help with our Westinghouse PC503 made by Siemens. PLC is fine but our HMI/OIT unit made by Maple Systems, model WES460A stoped displaying information from PLC. This operator interface terminal had display program stored in RAM chip that was placed in smart socket with internal battery cell to keep the memory live. After 14 years of service this battery lost its voltage and program was lost from the chip. I have replaced smart socket with newone but I have no idea what kind of program was in this RAM to control our display. Can someone knowlidgeable with Siemens S5 PLC and interface communication let me know what type of program we are missing, what can we do or where to go for help? Our machine (F85/HS traveling head press)was made by Hudson Machinery but I'm not getting any help at all from them. I have also contacted Siemens and they have no idea ether. Only help I got was Maple Systems tech. support to identify bad smart socket but they don't know what our program was. I made a communication cable for the HMI unit and I have the software to talk to it but no clue what to do next. Thank you in advance for any help that you could provide. Best regards, Bernard
