How do i send a host link command such as "@01RXI00010400" to plc and read and extract the response string using the VisualBasic MID command.I'm using vb.net and trilogic T100MD-1616+

Check your local Omron website and search the documents for the Host Link Command manual for the processor you are using.

This protocol is pretty well documented and the manual will include examples and sample code.

Omron host link commands are also known as C-Mode Commands. This is a serial communication protocol for communicating to Omron PLC's, Temperature Controllers, Process Controllers, etc.
