Registers from Compactlogix (L43) to PC

Hello,

I am using a compactlogix L43 and I would like to transfer information from the controler to my PC. I would like to get information from a register at every 'x' seconds. How should I proceed.

I heard about creating a DDE in RsLinx how is this done ?
