We have a device that handles CSP requests as though we were a SLC 5/05. We've been using it for years without problems. However, we just found that the Wonderware Intouch AB/Ethernet driver sends an odd packet that I don't know how to respond to. I've searched the Internet, this forum, and even Ron Gage's ABEL code, and don't see any references to it. The packet is sent after the TCP connection is established, and the Connect command is sent and acknowledged (01 01 00 00 ... sent, 02 01 00 00 ... received). The packet that we receive next is the following:
01 08 00 00 00 0D 01 01-00 00 00 00 00 04 00 05
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00-00 00 00 00
Everything is normal about it, except that I don't recognize the second byte (called submode by Ron Gage). I only know about submodes of 01 (Connect), 07 (PCCC request), or 0A (Disconnect).
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.
