Hi All..

I'm interested in integrating another existing control loop into my PLC5 and I wanna hear some of those well thought out comments from you all so here we go.

The loop is a conveying system that delivers product to a mill. The product takes some time to reach the mill (say a minute) however once the product reaches the mill the load on the mill increases fast.

Now I wanna use PID to control the input feed based upon the loading of the mill. Im thinking I have to tune for a very slow moving loop. What sort of advice would you all give me here?
