The MicroLogix 1100 has a built-in EtherNet/IP port. I have an InTouch application that communicates to PLC's via the Ethernet. However I cannot communicate to the MicroLogix 1100 using its built-in EtherNet/IP port. The only way I can over come this problem is to install RS232 to Ethernet conversion card (NET-ENI adaptor). This slows the speed of communication.

Does anyone have a better solution?

The Ethernet port on the 1100 is a CIP protcol port. You cna use Kepware's KepserverEx with ControlLogix driver, Software Toolbox's Topserver with ControlLogix Driver, or RSLinx. Any of these will work.
