I didn't know, until my distributor told me, and thought that others might not have known either.
The G3 HMI's have a new Kadet series in 4, 6, and 8 inch models.... They offer a little less functinality; without data logging, FTP, and web server functinality. And less by way of communications... But otherwise the same great G3 we know and love.
The G304 Kadet, will be taking over the C-More micro in a lot of my applications, where I simply need a message display. It may cost a little more still than the C-More, but I think that the extra functions will be worth it...
Now we just need the standard G3's to support more data logging, to replace my digital chart recorder needs, with real time updates to a PC, and I'll be all set.
