I have a tp177B and am trying to send an email on system alarm condition any help appreciated!
this is what I have tried
Smatservice installed and running
local network is connected to ISP
SMTP set properly
SMTP authentication ????
I am trying to trigger an email on the event 'high limit' of a tag value. I have set 'send email' in the tag database and use a local tag for the 'address of the recipient' This way the customer can change who the message is sent to. When the event is triggered no email is sent but the tag containing the address of the recipient is cleared (all spaces)
I need to get this right since the system runs 24/7 and subjective experimentation is not an option.
