Slow HMI Update Problem

Hey folks,
My HMI package(RSView ME)is communicating with my Controllogix processor via ethernet. Something is causing a huge slowdown though...it's taking upwards of 4 seconds for the screens to update.

Any thoughts on what could be slowing it down?
