Can somebody please explain how to program a Shift register in Concept 2.6 for the Modicon PLC (In Ladder Logic)

I don't have years of PLC programming under my belt, just need a simple 8bit shift register to tell me when the line is missing parts in a 7 station segment of an assembly line.

I have no experience in structured, so I really need to do it in LD.

Every other plc shows a Data, Clock and Reset with programmable or user adjustable bit inputs. Concept just has a shift right/left boolean, byte and word function block.

Thanks
