So I have a 5/04 I want to talk to 2 pv 600's ( rs 232 ports only ). What is the best ( cheapest ) way to do this? Also I need to control the speed of residential cieling fans. Any advice on this?

The cheapest... would be going to the hardware store and buying a fan speed control
