The RJ45 connector is not Ethernet. It is RS485 utilizing Rockwell's DH485 protocol. To hook together these CPUs please refer to Appendix B in this http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/1747-um011_-en-p.pdf manual
